Partnership Model
Values: Caring; collaboration (partnership) based on feeling of security; self-worth produced by sharing and caring relationships in all aspects of life; abundance (there is enough for everyone).
- Collaboration (we can work together; value in everyone having their needs met)
- Interconnectedness (we work together; no one has more value than another)
- Government is accountable to We the People; we tell government what we want
- Value measured in terms of Quality of Life, e.g. a sense of worth, connectedness, well-being, and generosity
Dominator Model
Values: Me first. Aggression/domination produced by fear, anxiety, and insecurity.
- Scarcity (limited resources)
- Competition (for just about everything including the scarce resource, jobs, money, recognition, etc.)
- Hierarchy (pyramid structure with only a few on top)
- Government determines what is best for us and offers “choices”
- Value measured in terms of $ gleaned from exploiting people and nature (“productivity”)
